Warehouse Operative – Hull or Goole

Our Hull client is currently looking for a Warehouse Operative on an temporary on-going basis.

Our client has been established for over 20 years and promote healthier living in increasingly busy lifestyles.

Our client is currently based in the village of Hessle on the outskirts of Hull however they are due to move their business to Goole from September.

For candidates applying from Hull not looking to commute to Goole, should be aware this will be an ongoing role.

However, candidates wishing to stay on an on-going basis.

Duties

For the role of Warehouse Operative duties of the role will include;

  • Unloading lorries
  • Using forklifts- both counterbalance and reach
  • Handballing (manually unloading)
  • Stack pallets into shelving
  • Order Picking

Please be aware this role includes a large degree of manual handling. Due to the objects being moved, you may be required to work in pairs or teams.

Requirements

Before applying for the role of Warehouse Operative please ensure that you have read the requirements for this role;

  • Counter balance AND reach fork lift truck licence – Applicants who do not hold both licences will not be considered
  • Have good numeracy, literacy and organizational skills
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Able to follow instructions

  • Production Operative
  • Warehouse Operative
  • General Labouring
  • Yard Operative
  • Or roles of a similar nature

Hours & Pay Rates
Pay Rate – NMW/NLW
Hours – 8.00am – 5pm Monday to Friday
